SCOTTISH ENTERPRISE DEPLOYS ASSETLINK MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT (MOM) SOLUTION

Scottish Enterprise, a public sector organization, has taken a pioneering step to improving efficiency in their marketing department

Glasgow, Scotland. – December, 2005 – Assetlink Corporation today announced that it has deployed its Marketing Operations Management (MOM) solution at Scottish Enterprise. Scottish Enterprise is Scotland's main economic development agency, funded by the Scottish Executive with a mission to help the people and businesses of Scotland succeed and to attract foreign businesses to Scotland. Scottish Enterprise is the first public sector organization in the UK to install such an end-to-end enterprise marketing system.
The solution, developed by Assetlink, a global leader in Marketing Operations Management (MOM), is being used by Scottish Enterprise to enhance their ability to orchestrate and optimize internal and external marketing resources, fulfill and distribute marketing content, collect and store both content and knowledge, and measure and optimize marketing performance.
Scottish Enterprise was keen to put efficient marketing processes in place in accordance with the UK Government’s modernization program for the promotion of better governance with the use of e-business. After a methodical, rigorous and fair vendor selection process according to the official OJEU (Online Journal of the European Union) rules and a three month pilot, Assetlink was selected among the over 30 suppliers that applied for the this high-profile project to implement the Marketing Operations Management solution.
